Being a Metal Head in Bahrain is like being an Outcast. Your friends make fun of you and other people fear you, or even dare to accuse you of things that you aren't. Around here, it's best if we just stick to our kind and mind our own business.
We look forward to the Friday Rock/Metal night on the local radio station. We are desperate for the next local gig, the next "Desert Rock" which may or may not happen, or we just wait for the time that we have enough money so we can go to places like the UK, Germany or the USA, where they hold the biggest, wildest Metal festivals ever.
But there's one thing for sure. Some of us will not rest till the next gig happens, HELL NO! We're going to make it happen right here in the Kingdom of good old Bahrain.
We're spreading the word of the revolution, spreading the horns \m/ and looking for people dedicated to the Metal culture right here, because, let's face it! We're misunderstood, under-estimated and suppressed!
Metal is OUR form of communication. Metal is ART that WE share. Metal is our passion. It's time WE took matters into our own hands.
